Suvretta House, St Moritz

It’s not quite a Disney castle, but it’s as close as you’re going to get. This five-star luxury hotel sits in the historical site of St Moritz and is surrounded on all sides by towering mountains, glistening lakes and bright snowy slopes. What’s more, they’re fully equipped to ensure everyone from pro-skiers to budding newbies are fully catered for – whatever their age. The hotel’s Kiddy Club offers youngsters of three and older a gaggle of fully supervised games, activities and sports, while the garden transforms in the winter season to a magical kingdom of ice sculptures, caves and slides that are hard to extricate kids from once they’ve entered. Teens can enjoy the on-site ice rink, while those looking to improve their ski skills, or even try out a piste for the first time, can take advantage of beginner lessons with Suvretta Sports School on the hotel’s own nursery slope. Refuelling takes the form of Teddy Club, which offers a generous kids’ menu that goes beyond the usual mini burger and chips, including a ‘Kung Fu Panda’ ricotta and spinach tortellini and ‘Nemo’: breaded strips of sole with rice and vegetables.
