Punta Tragara, Capri
Designed by Le Corbusier, this incredible Capresian property has hosted the likes of President Eisenhower and Winston Churchill, and no two rooms are the same. Mandarin Oriental, New York
Overlooking Central Park and the Hudson River, the Oriental suite on the hotel’s 52nd floor is a vision of blue, cream and silver, fitted with a custom designed kitchen unit and a living room with Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors and handcrafted oriental rugs. Coated in sleek black marble, the bathroom looks out on the Big Apple’s iconic cityscape, allowing guests to soak in style while admiring the verdant park below.

Tivoli Mofarrej, São Paulo
Located 22 floors up, the Presidential Suite at this hotel offers stunning vistas of the cityscape, framed dramatically by concrete reinforcements on the building’s exterior. While the room is a picture of serenity featuring cream linens, warm woody tones and sultry lighting, the bathroom is fabulous, decked out in gleaming marble with a tub next to the windows so you can luxuriate while admiring the skyline.
Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai
With a total of 1,539 rooms, this mega resort’s two underwater suites look out on to the largest open-air aquarium in the Middle East and Africa, home to more than 65,000 marine animals. Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia
Set on Pangkor Laut island on Malaysia’s western coast, this sprawling resort is built on the jungle’s fringes, where long-tailed macaques roam and oriental pied hornbills soar overhead.
