One of multiple pools at Lujo Hotel Bodrum

Lujo Hotel Bodrum, Turkey

There’s all-inclusive, then there’s ultra all-inclusive, such as this elegant (and equally entertaining) retreat on the glittering Aegean. Set on terraced hills above Güvercinlik Bay (choose between forest or lagoon rooms), it has access to three pearl-sand beaches, including the main Joy Beach, quieter Escape Beach and adults-only Indigo Beach. There’s also a 1,850m pier and marina. Want even more aquatic fun? The resort’s pool complex features nine pools and a water park. Feeling brave? You’ll need courage (and then some) for the looping rocket slide – a near vertical free fall drop, followed by a 360° loop. Kids will love Kijo Club (for ages one to 17), which hosts everything from laser tag to mini discos. Following an active day, relax in a Turkish hammam at Sensum Spa before grabbing a bite at one of nine on-site restaurants (including Turkish, Japanese and Italian options).

British Airways Holidays offers 40 per cent off on all room types except villas and family rooms. For travel from 1 September–24 October 2025. Book by 31 August 2025. The specified offer will appear in red text during the booking process, should it be applicable. Price shown on ba.com includes any applicable discount. Subject to availability. T&Cs apply.

Deluxe ocean view bedroom at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama

The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama, Spain

If there was an award for the most epic kids’ club, the one at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife would steal the show. Not only is it the largest in Europe, but it also has everything from a planetarium to a mini theatre. Parents are well catered for, too. Carved into a clifftop on this beautiful Canary Island, the Moorish-inspired resort is divided into the main buzzy Citadel and ultra-secluded Retreat (the latter includes rooms with private pools and 24/7 ‘ambassadors’). For next-level luxury, opt for one of the adults-only Tagor Villas, which offer perks including private check-in and exclusive breakfast lounges. Of the resort’s ten dining options, don’t miss Michelin-starred M.B by Martín Berasategui (Basque bliss incoming) and Abama Kabuki, serving Japanese-Mediterranean masterpieces. Kids are also in for a treat. Framing the 160-hectare estate are lush banana plantations and the brilliant blue Atlantic (access to the golden-sand beach is by funicular or mini train). Think it can’t get more magical? There are seven heated outdoor pools, an 18-hole championship golf course and a 2,500sqm ESPA spa.

British Airways Holidays offers complimentary daily access to the Ritz Kids club from 9am to 5pm for children ages four to 12. For travel until 31 July 2026. Book by 31 August 2025. The specified offer will appear in red text during the booking process, should it be applicable. Price shown on ba.com includes any applicable discount. Subject to availability. T&Cs apply.

One of two sheltered beaches at Cape Sounio, A Grecotel Resort, on the Athens Riviera (also opening image)

Cape Sounio, A Grecotel Resort, Athens, Greece

Perched on a pine-clad promontory overlooking the Athens Riviera and Temple of Poseidon is Cape Sounio. The 75-acre estate is set within Sounio National Park, offering bungalows, suites and villas with private terraces. Terracotta exteriors and the doric columns of the main building (housing the reception area and restaurants) nod to the temple, as does the amphitheatrically laid-out accommodation, which maximises sights of the ancient sanctuary and shimmering sea. The resort offers two beaches, three swimming pools and eight restaurants and bars. For a special treat, The Restaurant dazzles with rooftop fine dining – literally. The twinkling temple at night is pure magic. Dishes include kritharoto (Greek barley risotto) with lobster, lime and truffle. But the fun isn’t just for adults: Grecoland has everything from kids’ pools to themed adventures for all ages, including treasure hunts. Add a spa with wellness programmes inspired by ancient Greek rituals and the whole family is set for serenity.

British Airways Holidays offers up to 20 per cent off hotel stays from 1 September–31 October 2025. Valid on selected dates. Book by 31 August 2025. Studio king guest room at Noelle, Nashville

Noelle, Nashville, USA

Above historic Printer’s Alley – known for its speakeasies and live music venues – and one block from the city’s Broadway Entertainment District (aka Honky Tonk Highway) is this boutique Art Deco hotel from the 1930s. Back then, it was Nashville’s tallest luxury hotel (all 12 storeys of it), and its trailblazing amenities included everything from in-room radios to private tubs with ice water circulation. Fast forward to today and Noelle is still impressing guests with its restored marble columns, terrazzo floors, brass railings, arching windows. Foodies are well looked after: for example, Makeready Libations & Liberation serves modern American tavern fare with an Italian-coastal twist, alongside bold cocktails such as Purple Haze (Espolòn Tequila, Ancho Reyes Verde, dry curaçao and pomegranate). Meanwhile, Drug Store Coffee offers local Barista Parlor espresso – a nod to the original hotel’s drug store counter here. But Noelle’s highlight is its curated art programme, Nashvillians of Note, which showcases the works of more than 100 resident creatives.

British Airways Holidays offers the fourth night free and no resort fee for travel until 30 April 2026. Book by 31 August 2025. The specified offer will appear in red text during the booking process, should it be applicable. Price shown on ba.com includes any applicable discount. Subject to availability. T&Cs apply.

Prepped for a fly-drive American adventure

Epic US fly-drives

Who doesn’t love the idea of a great American road trip? It’s a great way to see more of the USA. If you’re flying to Tampa, drive two hours north to the oldest city in the US, St Augustine (cue historic forts, cobbled streets and the most charming shops). Creative jet-setters should check out art and culture hub Sarasota, just one hour away, while those up for a longer, beach-fuelled adventure can take in the iconic Overseas Highway from Florida Keys. Looking for history and coastal charm all in one go? Fly to Boston and make your way to Cape Cod’s quaint towns and lighthouses, Portland Maine’s Old Port, and the Gilded Age mansions of Rhode Island. If you appreciate some grit with your glitz, start in LA and travel two hours west to the American Riviera, Santa Barbara, which offers Mediterranean-inspired architecture, blissful beaches and wine tastings. Make time for Sunstone Vineyards & Winery, which is all about organic farming in its Provençal-like estate (just picture sipping Rhône-style wines amid lavender fields).

British Airways Holidays offers 1,000 bonus Avios when booking any USA Avis fly-drive in August 2025. Valid for travel between 1 August–15 December 2025, car group C and above, for a duration of longer than three days.
