Ask a Club member: what are your little in-flight luxuries?
Rose water facial mist, cashmere socks and… Haribo? We ask your fellow flyers to share the things they take and do on board to make their flights feel like even more of a treat

1. For longer flights, it’s my ultimate Ibiza chill-out Spotify playlist. Sets the right tone every time – with noise-cancelling headphones, of course.
Judge Jules, DJ
2. I take a spritzer of pure Moroccan rose water to refresh my face and hands with. It smells glorious and is also a natural disinfectant.
Alice Morrison, explorer and TV presenter
3. I have a cashmere wrap that’s travelled the world with me, and I also take my favourite eye mask – one that doesn’t crush my lashes – and a cosy pair of cashmere socks. Apparently if your feet are warm, your blood vessels dilate and send a message to your brain saying ‘relax’.
Anthea Turner, TV presenter and author

4. I bring Werther’s Originals sweets, a mini room spray of my favourite home scent (Choisya by the fantastic candlemaker Rachel Vosper) and an iPad loaded with my favourite podcasts and Netflix shows. On an overnight flight, I take Lemme Sleep. It is a homeopathic sleep aid that Piers Morgan introduced to me and it’s recommended by the Kardashians.
Tanya Rose, CEO and founder of marketing company Mason Rose
5. I always travel with a small skincare kit. Flying dries everything out, so I use a hydrating serum and moisturiser mid-flight to stay fresh. I also bring a good pen and a notebook. In the air is one of the few places I can think clearly without distraction.
Ed Hopkins, entrepreneur and founder of Ed Hopkins PR
6. My in-flight luxuries are simple: a good moisturiser, noise-cancelling headphones and a playlist that grounds me. I always bring a notebook, too – I find that altitude often brings clarity, and some of my best business ideas have started somewhere above the clouds.
Alberto Zandi, co-founder of Emerald Hospitality Group

7. I carry a meditation oil, thick woolly socks to keep feet warm and a small thermos with a soothing herbal tea made from fresh herbs.
Sama Trinder, founder of Bhuti
8. On flights, I use a product called Reset Nectar – a ‘facial in a bottle’ made by facialist Jac Hale. It’s my secret to stepping off a plane looking fresh and hydrated, and it doubles as a little pamper ritual that helps me feel calm and relaxed.
Marcus Fairfax Fountaine, co-founder of Fairfax & Favor
9. My in-flight luxury is buying Pringles and Haribo at the airport. They’re treats I rarely eat anymore but somehow feel perfect at 35,000 feet. Something about flying makes me want to eat like I'm 12 again, and it instantly makes the whole journey feel more special.
Taha Ouertani, chief executive of MindBay

10. I always pack my comfiest, softest loungewear to change into, so I feel ‘sleep ready’. And I make the most of the in-flight tea blends – BA has a great selection!
Kirsty Gale, founder of Red Carpet Ready
11. I’ve been enjoying BA’s on-board English sparkling wine. It’s fun to try something with ‘local’ provenance when you’re flying across the world.
John C
12. I bring chocolate from my favourite supplier, Cosmic Dealer. It makes incredible sugar-free chocolate. I always travel with it and never board a flight without my own stash!
Xavier Padvani, partner, Experimental Cocktail Club
