There are four packages – Voyager, Traveller, Explorer and Adventurer – that can be applied as a monthly or yearly subscription, from £26 a month. Via this method, you can save up to 44 per cent compared to buying Avios on a one-off basis. The best-value package provides you with 200,000 Avios annually, or 16,667 every month – which could see you collecting enough Avios for a late-summer Club Europe or Club World trip. Collect Avios effortlessly with Barclays Premier Banking
A new tax year will be underway and, for Barclays Premier Banking customers,1 that could mean enhancing your financial strategy by switching on Barclays Avios Rewards2 – a premium service that’s possibly the most effortless way to collect Avios yet. For a monthly fee of just £12, it lets Barclays Premier customers collect at least 1,500 Avios every month (which equals an easy Euro Traveller Reward Flight by the year’s end). It also throws in a yearly anniversary reward: a British Airways return flight cabin upgrade voucher or 7,000 bonus Avios, no strings attached. You will also be able to spend Avios on your PizzaExpress bill, thanks to a new digital voucher that can be generated on avios.com ahead of your meal and presented to your server. To join Premier Banking, you’ll need to open a Premier Current Account with Barclays and either pay in a gross annual income of £75,000, or have at least £100,000 in savings with Barclays, in eligible investments or a mix of both. Eligible investments are Investment ISAs, SIPPs or General Investment Accounts held through Smart Investor or Barclays Investment Solutions Limited.

You can opt in to Barclays Avios Rewards if you’re a Premier Banking customer or have a personal Wealth current account with Barclays – you’ll need to register for the Barclays app and have a British Airways Club account too. There’s a £12 monthly fee and you have to opt out of Barclays Blue Rewards and go paperless for all your accounts and services with Barclays. To access Barclays Avios Rewards in the Barclays app, you need to be over 18. You can join Premier Banking if you have an income of £75,000 or £100,000 held save or invest with Barclays. T&Cs apply.
3. To qualify for the 25,000 Avios joining bonus, you’ll need to join Barclays Avios Rewards – within 4 months of opening your first Barclays current account. Then, you’ll need to complete a full switch of your old current account to us, using the Current Account Switch Service – within 3 months of joining Barclays Avios Rewards. You will then receive your joining bonus in the fourth month of Barclays Avios Rewards membership.
